All other ingredients are food-grade, plant-based and natural. It has a smooth and lightweight texture, and is a pick-me-up of hydration for dull skin, leaving it feeling soft and renewed. There has not been anything like this on the market for many years.

Recycling: This product is supplied in an aluminium bottles made with more than 50 % post-consumer material.  As we know, aluminium is a very sustainable material because it’s is one of the most abundant raw materials on Planet Earth and it recycles forever. The quality is not compromised  when recycled and it can be melted down and its product characteristics such as purity , colour and structure are not compromised in any way that other materials are.

How to use: Apply a little of this rich, luxuriant lotion to the face, neck and décolletage areas using your hands or a cloth of your choice, if you prefer. Gently massage over the surface, then rinse off with tepid water. Then splash with cold water. Always moisturise with a light lotion afterwards.

About the skin

Our skin’s outermost layer is specially designed to keep harmful stuff out, and this is where a chemical surfactant like Sodium Laureth Sulphate (SLS) that since 1940 has commonly been used in soaps, shampoos, shower gels and toothpaste. This can cause problems by weakening and penetrating the skin’s defence mechanism; potentially causing harm and irritation to the skin.  As such, people with a history of sensitive skin and especially anyone suffering from conditions such as atopic dermatitis (eczema), rosacea and psoriasis are best to avoid products containing this chemical.

The temptation is often to come home and splash a few handfuls of water onto the face, kidding yourself that you have cleaned the face properly;  but are you?  Adding soap to the water simply makes matters worse as most commercial cleansers contain SLS, much-loved by the cosmetics industry.

Cleansing before bedtime

Before retiring there are important steps in any skincare regime. The first is to use our cleanser to gently remove make-up, and any of other things that accumulate on the skin from daily exposure to dirt and dust. By doing this, it helps to clean out pores, dislodge blackheads, and loosen dead skin cells.  Without this, we leave the skins’ oil glands congested with dirt and cellular waste; which if left unattended, at some point will become the perfect environment for the creation of unwanted breakouts, just when you don’t want them.
